Ravioli Lasagna


1 lb. ground beef (90% lean)
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 packet Healthy Solutions Italian Meatballs spice blend
1  32-oz. jar marinara
16 oz. whole milk ricotta
1 large egg
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 12-oz packages frozen cheese ravioli
2 cup mozzarella, shredded


Preheat oven to 350ºF.  Add ground beef to a skillet and cook on medium high heat until browned. Drain fat and remove ground beef from skillet. Using the same skillet, add olive oil and cook onions on medium high until soft. Add ground beef back into skillet with onions.

Stir in marinara and Healthy Solutions Italian Meatballs spice blend. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, spray a 9”-x-13” baking dish with non-stick spray; set aside.

In a medium bowl, combine ricotta, egg and 1/4 cup Parmesan
Spread 1/3 of the meat sauce onto the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Top with a single layer of ravioli. Continue layers, ending with cheeses. 

Cover pan loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for about 15 minute, until golden and bubbly. Top with additional cheese, if desired, before serving.
