1/3 cup un-popped popcorn kernels
1 lunch size brown paper bag (in the foil aisle of the supermarket)
3 tbsp. olive or avocado oil
2 tbsp. Healthy Solutions Seafood Rub
Open paper bag to stand on counter. Add un-popped popcorn kernels. Fold open side of bag 2-3 times, about ½" each fold to close bag.
Place bag on its side, folded side down, in microwave oven and microwave on high for 1½-2½ minutes or until popping slows.
Remove from microwave and shake bag while holding folded end so that popcorn does not fall out. Immediately pour popcorn into a large bowl for serving.
Top popcorn with oil and sprinkle on spice blend. Toss gently for maximum coverage. Enjoy.
Notes: Expect to have some un-popped kernels in the bag. If you keep it in the microwave too long, you may end up with burned popcorn.
If you don't plan to eat this right away, wait until the popcorn has cooled off and place it in a bowl covered with plastic wrap or a plastic zipper storage bag.
