Tender Beef Brisket


5-8 lb beef brisket
32 oz beef broth
1 packet Healthy Solutions Spice Blends Bold Beef Rub


Preheat oven to 275°F.  Generously sprinkle Bold Beef Rub onto both sides of meat, rubbing it evenly onto meat. Your meat will turn a beautiful, almost black, color. Place meat in large roasting pan, fatty side up. Poor beef broth into pan along side of meat. Liquid should be about 1/2" high. Cover tightly with heavy duty aluminum foil. Place pan in oven. Depending on the size and thickness of your piece of brisket, bake for 4-6 hours (or as long as 8 hours) until tender. Remove from pan and let the brisket sit for about 20 minutes before slicing.

Note: If desired, place cut onion, carrot and celery over the bottom of a roasting pan. Place meat on veggies.
