Cajun Shrimp Sliders

Cajun Shrimp Sliders

Direct from the HSSB test Kitchen

Ingredients:
1 lb raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
3 tsp. Healthy Solutions Spice Blends Cajun Seafood
Wooden or metal skewers
Rolls
Toppings: Sliced avocado, Lettuce leaves, Sliced tomato, Mayonnaise

Directions:
Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes (or overnight) before using to avoid burning them on the grill.  Place raw shrimp in a bowl. Add olive oil and Cajun seasoning; combine until well coated. Put shrimp on the skewers. Place on a hot grill until opaque and cooked through, turning once, for about 2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from grill and skewers.

Grill or toast rolls if desired. Place a lettuce leaf on bottom half of roll. Layer shrimp, avocado, tomato. Spread mayo on top half of roll.

Note: A great mayo for this can be made by adding a teaspoon of Healthy Solutions Salmon with Dill to 1/2 cup of your favorite mayonnaise.  The dill mayo has a fresh favor that helps tone down the heat from the cajun seasoning.

  1. You actually make it appear really easy along with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something that I think I’d by no means understand. It seems too complicated and very large for me. I’m taking a look ahead for your next post, I’ll attempt to get the dangle of it!
