Hearty Beef Stew

Ingredients:
2 lbs. stew meat (beef chuck is best)
1 packet Healthy Solutions Hearty Beef Stew
4 carrots (cut into 1″ pieces)
1 cup small pearl onions
2 cups beef broth
4 medium potatoes, quartered
1/2 cup dry red wine (optional)
2 tbsp. olive oil
Other vegetables as desired

Directions:
In a large pot or dutch oven, brown beef in oil over medium heat until brown.  Mix entire packet of spice blend into beef broth; set aside. Add remaining ingredients to pot; pour broth mixture over top.   Cover and simmer for 1.5 hours until meat is tender.

Note: If you prefer to cook in the oven, cover and cook in oven at 325 °F for 1.5 hours until meat is tender.
